Works just fine for my purpose.DOES NOT DISPLAY 144 HZ. As advertised, it displays 60 Hz so you know the quality of the port itself is questionable. But it works well. HOWEVER, the connection is a bit shaky and you can just tell. For a side monitor where all you do is read? Go for it. It's nice to have. It "works" but I wouldn't say it's worth the money. In fact for the quality, I'd say it's pricey. Opt a bit more money, get a better quality one.Easy to install (just plug-in) and screen resolution is good.After a connector that didn't work, I ordered this one because it looked like a HDMI convertor - wrong. My fault.I bought this as an adapter for my work-laptop docking station, running dual monitors to an HDMI jack. Works fantastic with a superb picture. Everything I wanted, at a great price and super easy to install. Sweet!working greatWorks as advertised.AaaThis makes attaching another monitor simple!
