I got these for a large laptop and a couple of desktop synthesizers. These are really well made for the price.I tried three other laptop stands before I found this stand. It is exactly what I need and is well made.Holds my laptop up and has very easy adjustmentDon't put anything too heavy on it, or lean on it for that matter. It's just on a tension screw to maintain height, no spring or hydraulics.Feels good and sturdy in use with audio equipment as well as laptops. Rubber pads on top are suitably grippy for light duty and protecting the shell of your expensive laptop from scratches. The base is as wide as the work surface, so it won't tip easily, but low enough that you could put weights on it if you play a bit rough and need the stability. This is just what I needed for my desk. I have two use 2 separate laptops for work and produced turned to be space saver too.Great product.I love how was easy it is to adjustYou can fix the problem with a text book or two, but that might ruin the clean look. Apart from that, it's a near perfect design. Very sturdy, minimalist, great price. I'm 6'1" so maybe it won't be a problem for others.Really great quality, flawless workmanship and materials. Practical and useful design. I’ve got both the silver and the black version, and they are equally good looking in their own way.Something that might not be completely obvious at first is that you can assemble the base in either direction. If you decide to position it opposite the laptop resting surface, you can put a weight on it and enjoy even more space underneath the laptop, while bringing the screen closer for better view.I had to take one star away for the offensive amount of unrecyclable plastic in the packaging. It’s sturdy, easy to adjust, a decent weight so it doesn’t tip. I can’t fault it if you want a permanent stand (I would advise if you intended to move it often). The cat approves to!Took a punt on this as it had no reviews, at the time, but looked to do what I needed. Not actually using it for a laptop - it's being used for a couple of bits of musical equipment, as my desk was getting short on space.Build quality is pretty good, and looks like it'll happily take some weight. It's assembled within minutes, with an impossible to get wrong method of putting it to together.Best bit is, the base is not to chunky, and the height is just enough so my synth can slide under without issue, which is what I wanted.. Perfect for space saving!Surface to bottom of laptop (true maximum raise) 14cm at the front, 19.5cm at the rearBase WxD=22.5x19.5cm (15cm from base of pillar to front)Top WxD=29.5x24.5cm (19.5cm space between limbs, each limb 5cm width)Thickness of material about 3mmPlus- easy to assemble (small allen key included plus 2 spare screws)- sturdy and stable (has some elasticity but in normal usec-typing- it feels totally stable)- good size 29+cm width is almost as wide as my 14 inch laptop- looks good- good feel of adjusting screw (soft stop)- seems like good quality material and finish and all metal construction- it should last forever- convenient and easy to use space under top to store (papers, pbone, mouse, box, full headphones etc)Minus- no tilt adjustment and no rotation (not really an issue but could be a problem for someone with very specific needs)- it covers partially my speakers and air intake- no cable management options (a couple of slots to run a tie wrap or a velcro strap would be nice)- lightweight material but not lightweight contruct- will not fold flat, can be easily disassembled but not really portable, it is a permanent standIt feels so good I am trying to justify buying a second one.I've given it 5 stars for "lightweight" even though it isn't lightweight. But it's the correct weight for providing the sturdiness needed. I can plug and unplug cables, lift the laptop lid up and down and it is stable and secure so for that, it gets 5/5.It takes about 3 minutes to assemble the 3 parts. It comes with an Allen key that has a magnetic tip, which is unexpected and very helpful and there are also 2 spare screws - and it even has useful assembly instructions. I love that cables, notebooks ...whatever, can fit underneath the laptop. I assembled one, tried it out on both my laptops and 3 days later, ordered a 2nd one.
