This USB Headset is an alternative to Bluetooth headsets which works on older laptops too (there is no need for a 4-pole jack connector or Bluetooth adapter), and you won't get "low power" warnings from a wired headset. There is a generous cable length, over 2m, which means these can be used with a good amount of freedom to stand and move around your desk. The volume controls are useful, but it took me quite a bit of time to get the wires clipped on my t-shirt so earbuds stayed in my ears, but once you get a good position it works well (the microphone is in the volume control so should be near your mouth and not covered). I tested these on a Windows 10 and Windows 11 laptop and the USB audio devices (headphones and mic) were automatically recognised, so set up is no problem. But sound is not that great, there is almost no bass unless you press the earbuds into your ear. This is unfortunately common with small earbuds, especially in the budget range, it is ok for basic media and speech in Zoom/Teams or for online interviews.Otherwise this headset works fine, as good as most basic alternatives, wired or Bluetooth, and some may prefer the small earbuds to over the ear headphones, especially in hot weather.
