This laptop is excellent for gaming. The RTX 3080 can handle the newest game in high-definition settings and VR headsets. I have used Oculus Quest 2 with this laptop, and it is an incredible experience. When running on battery, it changes to a silent profile that effectively turns off the fans. It works flawlessly non-GPC/CPU-intensive tasks, such as word processing, Web browsing, and streaming content. The battery lasts up to 5-hours.However, I had some drivers related issues. Doom Eternal didn't run until I manually updated ATI drivers. The wifi kept disconnecting until I installed the manufacture drivers. Finally, the only manner I found to connect the Oculus Quest 2 is by disabling the ATI graphic card.Computer Shut downin the middle of an update. Tried old power supply and new power supply and tried fixes of this known issue on the internet. Computer is basically an expensive doorstopLaptop arrived quickly and the upgrades cuk did work great. This computer was wrong for me. Too many bells and whistles. I thought a gaming computer would have the best RAM, graphics and SSD but it was just more than I needed. It was very fast with excellent graphics and all the peripherals. I was able to return it with no issues and I'm going to get new smaller laptop that's more appropriate for a business meeting.I got this computer about 2 weeks ago. I do lots of video editing and music production. With 64 gb ram, and the I7 10th gen intel processor, this thing blows my old computer away. So far I am very pleased with this. The only thing that I have an issue with it the low battery life, but that really can't be helped. It's fast, and does everything (I like the keyboard lights a lotI started to have issues with this computer days after I received the computer. Mine have all the high specs and it get froze all the time. Is a gamer computer and I can’t even do the most basic task. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy from this people.
