I needed a solution to elevate my laptop to the height of my free-standing monitor, and didn't want my desk cluttered with boxes. This turned out to be a great solution! I'm able to store various items under the laptop and still be able to spin the laptop when I need to. It looks great in my home office!I bought this laptop stand for my Apple MacBook Air M1 so I could use it with an external monitor and have them at about the same height. I was very impressed by the quality of the workmanship--it is a beautiful silver aluminum alloy. It is very sturdy and the swivel has just the right amount of tension so it turns easily, but doesn't feel flimsy. The manufacturer even included two extra bolts and an extra allen wrench used to assemble the stand, which was super simple. I'll be checking out what other products Lamicall makes.It is sturdy, does feel like it will tip or buckle under the weight of my heavy 17 inch laptop. My husband liked mine and now I am getting one for him. I only wish pink or rainbow titanium would have been a color option.I work from home and this stand puts my laptop st the perfect height for my teams and zoom meetings. Assembly was pretty easy except for the very first screw which was a real challenge until you actually get it. But I'm really pleased with the Laptop Stand. It's very versatile and I can sit it on the sofa or on my counter top which helps with positioning the screen at a good eye level that doesn't constrain your neck. Who knew that this new stand would help to improve my posture too. The design is really sturdy and you can feel the weight of the metal and that makes me feel confident that the stand won't come apart very easily. I'd recommend this if you're looking for something to rest your laptop on when you're sitting on the sofa.
