So the upper half of the desk works fine and the idea are fine, its the keyboard mount that bothers me, i wish it sat lower be default and came with a set up that assembled correctly. The wooded desk has hole preplaced for u with is nice but when the holes done work, u have to place your own holes and with the other holes there, it ruins the structure a bit so mine has a bounce to it with every movment on the keys. Then u also just kinda want it to sit lower so i can type easily while its under the desk.I just finished putting the desk together last night. The assembly took me about 2.5 hours, but I was watching a movie while I worked. It may have been closer to two hours if I did it without distractions. At the very end, I was disappointed to see that one of the main pieces was upside down. It already had a shelf and floor plate attached to it, so I had to remove everything and flip it. I am very meticulous about matching the picture as I go to be very certain that I won't accidentally leave an unfinished edge facing outwards, or something like that. This was just an instance where the instructions didn't give a clear example of which way the piece should go, so I had a 50/50 shot, and got unlucky. I was very disappointed when I noticed that the cams face outward on the left side of the desk as you're sitting at it. I assembled the desk for a bedroom, and I think the visible hardware looks insanely tacky, but I guess that is on me, because the ad photo actually shows the cams facing outwards on the left side of the desk. Most desks come with cable management holes, so that you can hide your cables under the desk, and run them up through the hole, directly to your monitor. This desk has no cable management holes at all, so will have to cut your own, or run the cables around the back of the desk. Having the printer stand as an optional piece is nice. I left mine off. It does leave a few small screw holes visible on your desk surface though. I haven't placed monitors on the desk yet, but I feel certain that I can comfortably fit both of my 24" monitors on the desk, side by side, with no issues (without the printer stand). The ad photo shows a PC on the left baseboard. Eyeballing it, I feel that it may be too narrow for my midsize tower, and it would definitely eat up some leg room if it did fit. I will probably place my PC elsewhere, and I feel that it probably won't fit in the bottom shelf on the right side. The desk seems sturdy, but I haven't put a load on it yet. I can't attest to leg room yet, but it appears fine. It isn't spacious or anything, but if you don't put a PC underneath the desk, you shouldn't be cramped. The keyboard drawer is very stiff, but I don't see that as an issue.I searched for a desk everywhere. I can't believe how hard it is to fins a desk these days with a keyboard pull out. This desk is perfect for laptop and PC gaming. It has an extra printer spot that makes a perfect laptop dock. Assembly was incredibly easy with detailed instructions and these wonderful folks make sure the setup will happen by supplying a screwdriver in the right size for every bolt, grab cap, and screw in the set up. Plus this thing is beastly. When I was first putting it together I was worried but once the backing was on this thing holds up! Listen to the instructions intro though, the stain was applied after drilling, which makes a nicer finish, but this means that as the beginning of the instructions say you'll come across a few screw holes that need the stain poked through with the screw driver before you can start screwing things together. The desk is pretty standard height with a big table top but the keyboard tray does mean you'll want an adjustable chair so you can sit a little lower and not whack you knees, but if you're looking for a desk with a keyboard tray you should already be prepared for that.Edit: I broke my desk in a move, I was devastated. I tried to tilt the desk on the PC storage side to get it out the door not thinking about the fact that the bottom panel is attracted to the leg at the center. I contacted the manufacturer to purchase a replacement piece and they were fantastic too! Quality products by people who care I'm so happy and well definitely be recommending them and looking to them for any new purchases!
