I bought this for school Zoom meetings because I got tired of leaning directly into my laptop just to be heard clearly, as I have a rather soft voice. This little mic works perfectly fine for this purpose and I'm relieved to save my back from unnecessary stress. I tested this mic with a friend on Discord and she was able to hear me pretty clearly. Zoom meetings have also been smooth sailing. Per her suggestion, you may want to consider using the "push to talk" function available on whatever program you're using, as she did hear the very beginnings of my sentences getting cut off. It's a very minor issue and could just be me, but I thought I'd put that out there.I did have to fiddle with the mic on the programs I used it on the first time around (Discord, Voice Memo on Mac, and Zoom), but it was just a matter of making sure I had my audio input set to the mic (USB Device). The programs should "remember" what your settings were, so you should be good to go from there on out. The adapter portion of the product comes with instructions, just in case you can't get the mic to work.The overall quality of the product is great, but I found it curious that I didn't get a Movo branded mic as advertised. Instead, I got a Boya BY-A100 mic with a Movo adapter, as opposed to a Movo DOM2 mic. The actual mic came in the box shown in the photos provided, with the adapter in a separate little baggy. The difference in branding had me sweating a little and worried that I might have been sent the wrong product. Obviously, it worked out all right in the end. Both the Boya and Movo mic seem to be the exact same product, save for their different adapters.I love how little and portable this mic is, and found the case that it comes with to be a pretty neat bonus, as well! I use the mic with a USB-C to USB-A adapter with no problems. Other than the weird branding mix up, I have no complaints. However, I do wish that I got the chance to pick the color, since this Boya mic seems to come in a rosy gold color, which would have been nice to match with my laptop.
